This course is designed to provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge to work effectively in a Gaming environment.

If you are looking for a start in the rapidly growing Gaming sector, our course is designed to train you in becoming a valuable gaming employee who are currently in huge demand. Apart from the hands on practical sessions with actual gaming machines and assistance in applying for your gaming license, our course also offers work experience at the award winning Currumbin RSL. So providing you with not only all the necessary knowledge and skills to work effectively in the gaming sector, but also the real life confidence needed to secure that job.

GAMING
• SITHGAM006A – RSG (accredited) •Conduct a Keno Game •Advise customers on features of Keno •Process bet types •Pay out prizes
•Cancel tickets •Advise customers on games and gaming activities •Operate and maintain gaming machines •Make gaming machine payouts •Operate and maintain coin dispensing equipment

Black and white industry clothing is required throughout the course and for work experience. Casual clothes can be worn the RSA day

CHANGE OF FORMAT FOR COURSE

The Bar and Gaming Course will still run from Monday to Friday however it will now be in a new format. We have blended the course so throughout the day the student will feel they are learning all aspects of a bar & gaming machine attendant as they would on the job. This way the student will have a more balanced approach at what they are learning with theory and practical skills that are more relevant to industry trends and needs. So from the 20th September onwards the course will be purchased as a whole package not as individual courses.
