Currumbin RSL College is currently offering FULLY FUNDED training to eligible participants. The Productivity Places Program is part of the Australian Government’s Skilling Australia for the Future initiative and is a great way to add to your current skill set and secure better employment.

We are a Nationally Recognised Training Organisation based on the Gold Coast and approved by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations to deliver courses under the Productivity Places Program, at our Currumbin campus

How to Enroll / Apply for the Productivity Places Program

If you are registered with an employment service provider, such as Job Network or Disability Employment Network, you are required to complete the following procedure:

1. Read the information provided on the specific courses available on this site or Currumbin RSL College website and select the specific course you are interested in., or contact us directly and we will send details out to you.

2. Contact your employment service provider (ESP) to discuss your interest and obtain a referral to the course of your choice at the College.

3. Contact the College to schedule a time to come in and complete your application forms and provide your required evidence.

4. On your behalf the college will submit your application to the DEEWR to secure your place.

5. The College will then be in contact regarding your application and advise of your course commencement date. You will then be provided with your welcome pack and be scheduled for an induction, and training. If you are not registered with an employment service provider you need to apply directly to Currumbin RSL College and advise which certificate course you are interested in.

If you are a Community Development Employment Projects (CDEP) participant you will need to get a referral letter from your CDEP manager or supervisor to the course of your choice at Currumbin RSL College.

Am I eligible?

To be eligible for a training place you need to be:

Currently looking for work.

An Australian citizen or a permanent resident of Australia.

Over the age of 15.

Not self employed.

Not a full time student.

What do I require when applying?

Birth Certificate, or Medicare card,

Current driver’s license or passport.

What does it cost?

If you are currently looking for work and gain approval by the Australian Government, you will be fully funded for your training under the Program.

Do I need to purchase any course materials?

No, all Course materials are provided by the Currumbin RSL College.

Can I study and work?

Yes, all participants are encouraged to continue to look for work and still complete your course.

Do I need to submit assignments and do home work in order to get my Certificate? Yes, each training course requires students to submit and be deemed competent in various assignments and home work.
