To ensure you receive the most relevant, effective and comprehensive learning experience, the diploma course is structured over four exciting terms. This is an intensive training program which aims to maximise your learning in the shortest time frame possible ,which means you’ll be ready for the workforce sooner than ever. Our Diploma course covers the comprehensive range of units from the new training package, with the emphasis on mastering not only the practical and theoretical aspects of the competencies, but also understanding the nucleus and heart of the hospitality industry. Under the new training package the qualification is now called “ Diploma of Hospitality “ and has the new AQF code SIT 50307. CRC will provide students with the highest level of education and training, developing hospitality professionals that have the conceptual, analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills required to progress in the industry today.
CRC’s students are prepared for supervisory and management positions throughout the industry, including careers in hotels, resorts, clubs, taverns, restaurants and theme parks. After graduating you will have outstanding employment opportunities in both the local and international marketplace.
We have pathway opportunities with articulation to both Griffith and Southern Cross Universities, which will allow our students to springboard and undertake further studies, taking a year off their chosen degree.
The Diploma course will run over 40 weeks, being four terms of 10 weeks, with 20 hours attendance per week. This incorporates face to face learning and on site skill development, combining 200 hours of industry placement.
Industry Placement
Our industry partnership program provides exposure to the hotel, resort and club industries, resulting in tangible outcomes for our Diploma students. This partnership has many advantages; one is it provides the hands on learning opportunities for our students to complete their 200 hours of industry placement, reinforcing the skills and knowledge that they have acquired through the college. Another advantage is that it has become an incredibly useful recruiting process for companies future employment needs. This partnership ensures managerial expertise and mentoring support for our candidates as a key focus.
