About Currumbin RSL College

The Currumbin RSL had a vision to become a leader in training and decided to invest in its most valuable asset – their employees. From this vision the Currumbin RSL College of Hospitality was established in 1998 to provide a unique industry-based RTO that specialises in providing quality, industry focused training to the hospitality sector. At its conception it was the first club in Queensland to become a Registered Training Organisation.

Anne Stovin at the time was the HR & Training Manager who was a huge driving force towards the development of the college to become the success it is today. Now in her role as CEO for the Currumbin RSL, Anne is still involved in her role as Principal of the College. For the last four years College Coordinator Jane Renata has been slowly nurturing the business. In this time she has built the business from one part time coordinator and one part time trainer – to today with a recently renovated facility with 3 classrooms, a fully functional bar and café, one full time coordinator, 2 part time trainers, 4 casual trainers, one full time administration assistant and most recently, a Business Development Manager to assist in future growth of the business.

With this most recent expansion we have re-branded the college and are now known as CRC – Currumbin RSL College complete with new motto — “expand your horizons”. With our new branding our focus is to build on relationships that we already have in our community, make new ones and to provide industry-driven training so our students will be at the cutting edge of the hospitality profession.
